CoreTech was founded in March 2020. Just one month later, despite the challenges and chaos of a global pandemic, we had grown to a team of 5 technical experts with 80+ years of combined experience in the industry.

Our vulnerability research and software engineering teams were now established, giving us solid foundations to build upon. By the summer, social distancing restrictions had eased, so we opened our first office and began working together in person for the first time.

We launched our third capability area: operational research. Quickly becoming our fastest growing team, their focus was the rapid development of technology demonstrators that could be trialled and deployed in real-world environments.

Now with 40 team members, we had outgrown our serviced office and moved into new custom-built offices that would become our long-term HQ. We landed our first £1m+ contract and took a major step towards realising our original vision.

Having navigated some challenging years for both the nation and our start-up, we are proud of the business we have built and the culture we’ve grown along the way. Our growth has opened up new opportunities: creating meaningful technical careers for our people, providing greater impact for our clients, and giving us the confidence to invest in CoreTech’s future.
